For 23 years, the High Springs church has hosted a Christmas Party for the children and adults served by the Mount Dora Children’s Home. We look forward to this event every year – for many of us, this is what marks the true start of the Christmas season.
For those who are unfamiliar with the Mount Dora Children’s Home and their good works… they have two main programs — the Single Parent Program, and a group home for children. Their dynamic programs seek to serve and positively impact children and families who need food, clothing, counseling, and other basic needs — and a stable, healthy, safe place to call home. It has always been our pleasure to provide support for Mount Dora in several ways, including this wonderful little holiday celebration for their residents.
