The date was June 23. Harold and Kay Smith were coming to the church building for Bible study… just another typical Wednesday evening…
OR SO THEY THOUGHT.
Upon entering the building, they discovered a surprise party had been set-up to honor them on their 50th wedding anniversary. Their son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter (Nate, Molly, Avery Smith) set-up the surprise, along with help from several others. What followed was an evening of great food and fellowship, and some very entertaining stories — watch the video!
It was a great way to honor this couple that has served the Lord’s church throughout their lives — and still to this day, through their stewardship of our church food pantry.
