07 May Ladies Day 2023
The High Springs Church hosted its first area-wide Ladies Day on Saturday, May 6. Jocelyn Farber – member of the Lakeside Church of Christ in Orange Park, Florida, and an assistant principal in Clay County District Schools – was the guest speaker. In addition to Farber’s topic of “God’s Masterpieces”, songs were led by Pam Buck and Erin Meredith, while event organizer Gretchen Buck kept everything on-track. The 70+ women in attendance included our sisters from several neighboring congregations in Alachua, Baker, Columbia, Gilchrist, and Marion Counties.
Following the keynote session, a luncheon was prepared and served in the fellowship hall by men of the congregation including Ed Buck, Jim Meredith, Steve Scudder and Jimmy Thomas.
